Boreland Farm Cottage is situated in a superb elevated position with wonderful views over Loch Ken. Our cottage is flooded with natural light from the large windows and is decorated simply which gives a relaxing feel. The cottage is located within the grounds of a working family farm and views from every window are onto fields. Whilst in rural surroundings there are many amenities within a short distance, the thriving food town of Castle Douglas is just a 15 minute drive away, there is a village shop and pub located in our neighbouring village of Crossmichael just 3 miles away. The cottage in a wonderful location to enjoy forest walks and take advantage of many of the near by 7 Stanes routes. The artist town of Kirkcudbright is located just half an hours drive away, a wonderful day out with galleries, restaurants, castle and a lovely walk along the harbour where you can purchase fish straight off the boat.
